General Information
The Lahore School of Economics (LSE) is proud of its unique approach to the teaching of economics and other business related academic disciplines. The teaching model at the university brings together a combination of both lectures and discussion groups. The primary focus of classroom activity at the university is directed toward the discussion of case studies and tutorials. A high degree of emphasis is also placed on essay writing and scholarly research papers.
The Lahore School of Economics operates on a two term system for undergraduates and a three term system for master’s degree candidates. Undergraduate students may avail themselves of a summer session at their option.
Each course offered within the School of Economics involves time spent engaged in lectures, case studies, and the analysis of problems. Tutorials with individual professors are held to examine problem sets more closely and to help the students and faculty at the university engage directly.
