Vice Chancellor Message
I am delighted to welcome the new and continuing students of AIOU to enroll in the programs of their choice for the Autumn 2009 semester. As you will notice the University has continued to expand its course offerings to meet the growing educational needs of its students and the nation. All the post-graduate programs available this semester comply with the HEC criteria and standards for admission, retention, and graduation. The available M.Phil and Ph.D level programs in various specializations are a judicious blend of course work and research. They are designed to produce specialist scholars who can successfully participate in the global knowledge economy through their internationally assessed research work. The post graduate programs are selectively open to future educational leaders in Natural and Social Sciences.
The University is offering various delivery modes including distance learning, face-to –face learning and a blending of the two. All Masters Programs particularly in Computer Sciences and Business Administration have significant face-to-face components. Students are encouraged to plan their schedules accordingly.
